Describe it. Build it. Use it.

No code. No repo. Just pebbles.

Tell your AI the tool you need. It builds a pebble: your data, the rules that check it, views and reminders, kept together. Use it in your chat and in the pebblebase app on your phone.

Free pilot for Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and Codex. No card. No automatic charges.

How it works

  1. Describe it.

Say what you want in your AI chat, in your own words. Connect once with one URL and a passkey. No email, no password.

  2. Build it.

Your AI writes the tests first, then the tables, forms, views and reminders. pebblebase runs the tests and rolls back a change that breaks one.

  3. Use it.

Tables, boards, calendars and charts show up right in the chat. The pebblebase app puts the same pebbles on your phone, with a Dashboard, and reminders that open the form in one tap.

One pebble, everything it needs

Each pebble is one SQLite file: your records, the rules that check them, its views, reminders, tests, and notes your AI reads next time. Any connected AI picks it up in a fresh chat, and you can export the file whenever you like.

  • Data
  • Rules
  • Views
  • Forms
  • Reminders
  • Tests

Eight ways to see it, in chat and in the app:

  • Table
  • List
  • Stat
  • Chart
  • Streak
  • Record
  • Board
  • Calendar

Build whatever you want

Replace a system you run, or make something just for fun. Each of these was built and tested; pick one to start your prompt.

Ask for a new column, a different reminder or another view. Your AI updates the pebble, and its tests make sure the parts you rely on keep working.

Which AI do you use?

Claude

For Claude on the web or the desktop app, then on your phone.

Add to Claude (opens Claude in a new tab)
  1. Choose Add to Claude. Claude opens Add custom connector with pebblebase's name and URL filled in, and notes that they came from a link. Check them, keep the detected sign-in settings, and choose Add, then Connect. The Free plan allows one custom connector.
  2. In the sign-in window, choose Create account, enter a username, and save a passkey. Already have an account? Choose Sign in.
  3. Start a new Claude chat and paste the prompt. Claude asks before each tool use; choose Allow once or Always allow.
  4. On your phone, pebblebase is already in the Claude app. In a chat, choose + → Connectors and turn pebblebase on.
Add it by hand instead
  1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, choose Add, then Add custom connector. The Free plan allows one custom connector.
  2. Enter pebblebase as the Name, paste the pebblebase MCP URL, and choose Continue. Keep the detected sign-in settings (Sign in now and Use Claude's published identity), choose Continue if asked, then Add, then Connect.

Instructions for your AI

Use my pebblebase connector. If its tools are not available in this chat, stop and give me this link to add it in Claude: https://claude.ai/customize/connectors?modal=add-custom-connector&connectorName=pebblebase&connectorUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fmcp.pebblebase.dev%2Fmcp (or tell me to add https://mcp.pebblebase.dev/mcp as a custom connector under Customize → Connectors), then tell me to start a new chat and paste this prompt again. You cannot add the connector for me. Setup steps: https://pebblebase.dev/pebblebase/agent-guide.md. Never ask me to paste passwords, passkeys, or tokens. Look for an existing project before creating another. Save its records and usage instructions for future chats. Only confirm a save after a successful tool result.

Paste into a new Claude chat.

Copying starts no account or charge. You approve sign-up and your passkey in the browser. Connection steps for you and your AI.

Questions

What is pebblebase?

pebblebase keeps the tools you build in AI chat. Your AI builds each one as a pebble, and pebblebase keeps its data, rules, views, reminders, tests and notes. Use it in your AI chat and in the pebblebase app. Build a habit log, appointments, a client list, invoices, a story game, or anything else you'd track.

How do I get started?

Pick an example or write your own request, select “Get started,” follow the steps for your AI, and copy the visible prompt into a chat.

  1. Connect your AI to https://mcp.pebblebase.dev/mcp.
  2. Choose Create account, enter a username, and save a passkey. If you already have an account, choose Sign in.
  3. Return to your AI. If the new tools are not available in that chat, start a new chat and paste your prompt again.
  4. Describe one record to save. Later, open a fresh chat and ask your AI to find and continue that project.

Keep the same pebblebase account when you return. A new account has separate projects. Detailed connection instructions for you and your AI.

Prefer one page per AI? Follow the step-by-step connect guide.

Will my project still be there in a new chat?

pebblebase stores your project’s records and usage instructions independently of the conversation. An authorized AI connected to the same pebblebase account can discover the project and continue using it in a later chat. Ask it to find your existing project before starting another.

Which AI can I use?

This pilot supports Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and Codex. Signup, saving a record, and finding it again in a new chat have been live-tested with Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and Codex on macOS. You bring your own AI access. Other AI clients have not been tested for this pilot yet. pebblebase is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic, OpenAI, or xAI.

What does it store?

Each pebble’s records and tables, the rules that check new entries, its views and forms, reminder schedules, tests, and notes on how to use it again. Your AI can add, find, update, and delete records, and summarize them over time. The pebblebase app shows the same views and forms and brings reminders to your phone. For a voice-note journal, it saves transcribed text. pebblebase does not host audio or application code.

What will it cost?

The pilot is free. No card is required, and it will not automatically become a paid subscription. Your AI access is separate. A future paid plan would require your explicit agreement.

What happens to my data?

This page does not use analytics, advertising cookies, or a sign-up form. Prompt edits stay in this page’s memory until you leave. Copying puts the text on your device’s clipboard; you paste it into your AI yourself.

When you use a connected pebblebase account, your records and project instructions are stored on the service. Authorized AI clients can read and change them, and your chosen AI provider processes the data it receives. Account and authentication data are also stored to maintain your connection. Read the pilot data and support notice before connecting. This is an early pilot; keep a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
