# pebblebase free pilot

## The offer

pebblebase is free during the pilot. No card, no email, no automatic charge; a paid
plan would only start if you agree to it. It works with the AI apps tested on
https://pebblebase.dev/: Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and Codex on macOS. pebblebase is independent and not
affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic, OpenAI, or xAI.

It's a pilot: there's no uptime guarantee, so keep your own copy of anything you can't
afford to lose, and don't use it for sensitive or regulated records.

## What we keep

- **Your pebbles:** the records, tables and notes your AI builds, on Google Cloud in the
  United States, with backups.
- **What signs you in:** your username and your passkey's public key. The private key
  never leaves your device, and there is no password.
- **Your settings:** time zone and display choices, and which AI apps you've connected.
  When an AI app connects, pebblebase stores the name that app reports for itself and when
  it first connected, to show it in the app. No chat content is stored.
- **Reminders:** for each device you turn them on, its push address. Reminders travel
  through your browser's push service (Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft), encrypted so
  that service can't read them.
- **Logs:** request details such as IP addresses, kept 30 days, to keep the service
  running and safe.

The pebblebase app at https://app.pebblebase.dev/ uses the same account and records.

## What we don't do

No ads, no analytics, no selling or sharing your data. We don't look at your pebbles
except to fix a problem you ask us about. Your AI app sees what you let it see, under
its own terms.

## Your data is yours

Export any pebble from your AI chat at any time. To delete your account, email us; we
delete it after confirming it's yours, and backups clear within 45 days.
