# pebbleTime

Hours worked by person, project and client, with a weekly review reminder.

From the pebblebase pebble box: https://pebblebase.dev/box/pebble-time

## Ask it

- Log 2 hours on the website redesign this morning, billable.
- How many hours did I work this week?
- Show last week's hours by client.
- Yesterday's entry was wrong: it was 3:30 to 5:00.
- What's still in draft?

## What's inside

- Records: people; clients; projects; time entries.
- Views: This week (table), Calendar (calendar), Hours by day (chart), By project (table), Drafts (table).
- Reminders: Every Monday at 8 am: review your hours and plan the week.
- Tests: 47.

## Good to know

- No timers, payroll, rates or invoices: you log time after the work.
- Nothing watches your computer or phone.
- Totals are hours, not money.

## Rebuilt

Rebuilt 2026-10-13 in Claude: 47 tests pass.

Help me keep track of the hours I work. Keep the people who do the work, my clients, my projects (each optionally for a client, and billable or not by default), and time entries: who, which project, a start and end time, a short description and whether it's billable. An entry starts as a draft and counts once I submit it.

Views: today, this week, a calendar of entries by day, a bar chart of hours per day over the last two weeks, totals by project and by client, drafts, and a full entry history. My week starts on Monday.

Remind me every Monday at 8 am to review my hours and plan the week.

Rules: an entry needs a description, ends after it starts, isn't in the future, and covers at most 24 hours on one day. One person's submitted entries can't overlap, though back-to-back entries and two people at once are fine. Submitted entries can't be edited or deleted: void one with a reason and log a replacement. Days and weeks follow my time zone, including daylight-saving changes. Inactive people, clients and projects can't take new entries.

Write these as tests first. Ask me rather than invent names, amounts or dates.
