## Ask it

- We received 24 boxes of gloves at the back store.
- Used 3 litres of massage oil today.
- Move 10 towels from the laundry to the front shelf.
- What do I need to reorder?
- We counted 18 filters, not 20. Fix it.

## What's inside

- Records: items, each with one unit; locations; which items are kept where, with a reorder point and a target; every stock movement.
- Views: Overview (stat), Inventory (table), Reorder list (table), Activity (table), Stock health (chart).
- Reminders: none.
- Tests: 34.

## Good to know

- Quantities only: no costs, valuation or purchase orders.
- No lots, serial numbers or expiry dates.
- One unit per item, with no conversions between units.

## Rebuilt

Rebuilt 2026-10-13 in Claude: 34 tests pass.

## The prompt

Paste this into a chat with pebblebase connected. Setup steps: https://pebblebase.dev/pebblebase/agent-guide.md

Help me track my inventory. Keep items with a SKU, a name and a unit; my locations; which items are kept at which location, each with a reorder point and a target quantity; and every stock movement: opening stock, receipts, issues, transfers between locations, and adjustments in or out.

Views: a few headline numbers, stock on hand by item and location, a reorder list of anything low or out with how much to order to reach the target, recent activity, and a bar chart of stock health.

Rules: quantities come from movements, never typed in. A movement's quantity is positive, and stock can't go below zero. Receipts go to a location, issues come from one, and a transfer moves between two different locations in one step. Adjustments need a reason. SKUs are unique, ignoring case. A target can't be below the reorder point, and low means at or below it. Movements can't be edited or deleted: correct one with an adjustment. An item's unit can't change once it has moved. Every item kept at a location shows, even at zero.

Write these as tests first. Ask me rather than invent names, amounts or dates.
