Equipment, repeating maintenance and work orders, so nothing slips past due.

## Ask it

- What maintenance is due this week?
- The walk-in freezer stopped cooling: open an urgent repair.
- Mark the furnace filter change done.
- What's blocked, and why?
- Show the van's service history.

## What's inside

- Records: equipment; maintenance plans that repeat every so many days; work orders; work order updates.
- Views: Active work (table), Due maintenance (table), Work board (board), Maintenance calendar (calendar), Service history (table).
- Reminders: none.
- Tests: 54.

## Good to know

- No sensors, spare-parts stock, purchasing or costs.
- Completing a work order doesn't certify anything as safe.
- Due dates don't send reminders unless you ask for one.

## Rebuilt

Rebuilt 2026-10-13 in Claude: 54 tests pass.

Help me keep up with maintenance on my equipment. Keep each piece of equipment and whether it's in service, out of service or retired; maintenance plans that repeat every so many days from a first due date; work orders for preventive work, repairs or inspections, each with a priority; and every update on a work order: start, block, resume, complete, cancel or reopen.

Views: active work, maintenance that's due, a board of active work by status, a calendar of plans by next due date, blocked work, and service history.

Rules: a plan repeats every 1 to 3,650 days. Completing a plan's work order moves its next due date on by the interval, and reopening that order undoes it. A plan has at most one active work order at a time. Work goes from open to in progress to complete; it can be blocked and resumed, cancelled, or reopened. Blocking, completing, cancelling and reopening need a note. Updates are never edited or deleted, and can't be in the future. Equipment with history can't be deleted, and can only be retired once it has no active plans or work.

Write these as tests first. Ask me rather than invent names, amounts or dates.
